Lack of available light

The thing about this time of year that has always bugged me is that anything that needs done outside can only be done at the weekend.

During the week I got three bare-root crab apples that I intended on planting this weekend. However, after doing a little Xmas shopping in Coleraine, I came back to find the wind had blown a wall out of our plastic shed.

Ryan and I had barely enough time to make temporary repairs before dark. The best thing to do is to move it and ensure the site is flat as it was hastily constructed during our housemove. Who knows how it will hold up when the winds pick up again over the holiday.

Anyway, the crab apples were planted in buckets on Sunday until I can get our beds ready in the Spring.

I remember thinking that blogging would have been my thing.

After starting a couple over the years, I was proved wrong.
